Essential account storage
Authentication cookies and related browser storage keep a signed-in session secure and allow protected account pages to work. These are distinct from the drafts and review records stored in the account database.
Optional workspace storage
- Review history and versions: drafts and completed reviews you choose to save on this device.
- Editorial preferences: whether local saving and optional anonymous analytics are enabled.
- Optional voice guidance: a local profile built from accepted and restored editorial decisions.
- Active review recovery: temporary session data used to reconnect to a review after a refresh.
- Product events: limited interaction events when optional analytics are enabled.
Optional site analytics
With your permission, PublishReady uses Google Analytics to measure page visits and a limited set of product-funnel actions. The tag is blocked until you allow analytics. Google may then set _ga and related first-party analytics cookies. Google advertising storage and personalization remain disabled.
Separately, you can allow advertising measurement. The Google Ads tag and Meta Pixel are blocked until you make that choice and may then use advertising storage such as Google tag cookies or Meta's _fbp and _fbc cookies. They measure page visits and a small set of campaign outcomes, such as account registration and the start of checkout. Advertising personalization remains disabled. We do not send draft text, refinement instructions, names, email addresses, account IDs, or review IDs to either service.
LinkedIn Insight Tag is separately included when you accept the updated advertising choice. A previous Google/Meta permission alone does not enable LinkedIn. LinkedIn loads only on the account-access page and measures new email account creation, not ordinary sign-ins. It receives the page URL, referrer, IP address, browser/device information and timestamp, and may use LinkedIn cookies and identifiers to associate activity with an ad interaction. Our registration event contains only the conversion ID, not your name, email or draft. The tag is not loaded on draft editors, dashboards or billing pages. Declining advertising stops future events and reloads an already tagged page to unload the library. See LinkedIn's privacy policy.
How to control it
You can delete saved reviews and the complete account from the client workspace. Account deletion can also remove all PublishReady local and session storage on the current browser when you select that option. You can clear site data through the browser as well, although doing so may sign you out. Clearing browser storage alone removes the device copy; it does not delete reviews already saved to your account.
Analytics and future changes
Non-essential site and product analytics remain optional and exclude draft text. When you open PayPal checkout, PayPal may use the cookies or similar storage required to provide, secure, and remember its payment experience under its own policies. PublishReady does not use those payment technologies to read your drafts.
